Ketchum, Idaho resides on Blaine County, Idaho in the United States of America. Ketchum rests in the Wood River Valley, beside Sun Valley. Both Valleys sit near Bald Mountain, where skiing is known worldwide. Ernest Hemingway, as a celebrity, made Sun Valley popular by his love of the land there. It was here he loved to fish, hunt, and also where he committed suicide. He is buried in the Ketchum Cemetery.

Venice is located far north in Italy and is the capital of the province Veneto. Having many glorious nicknames, such as “City of Light” and “Queen of the Adriatic,” Venice is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The city is situated in the Venetian lagoon, scattered in 118 tiny islands. Its climate is a normal cool in the winter, hot in the summer type with no extreme weather importances. Venice follows Central European Time.

Kenya is a semi-presidential republic under the presidency of Mwai Kibaki. The prime minister is Raila Odinga. Kenya declared itself as a republic from the United Kingdom on December 12, 1964. The official languages spoken are Swahili end English, and the country uses the Kenyan shilling as currency. 74.25 Kenyan shillings equals one U.S. dollar. Kenya is under the time zone of East Africa time. Kenya also has a very hot and dry climate range. Although it rains well in March and May, the weather stays hot throughout the year.

Uganda is located between Sudan, Kenya, Zaire, and Tanzania. The official name of the country is Jamhuri ya Uganda, and the capital is Kampala. The president of Uganda is Yoweri Museveni, and the official language is English. The currency is the Ugandan shilling; one American dollar equals 1,640 Ugandan shillings.

One of France’s most historic times was in 1804 when Napolean Bonaparte created France into the First Empire that resided over Europe until 1814.

Paris, France, or best known as “The Light City,” is located in Northern France, resting along the Seine river. The city has a population of 9.93 million according to a census taken in 2005. It is one of the most populous areas of Europe. Paris is the economic leader of the country, and also a world “global city” in business and culture. Paris is extremely popular in tourism; more than 30 million foreign tourists travel through Paris a year.

Because of its central location, Paris has diverse continental weather that brings hot, stuffy summers and chilling winters. Storms are frequent, but without any downpour of rain.
